TEDCO Business Works - South Shields
Located in South Shields town centre, and completed in 2000, this two-storey purpose-built centre offers excellent modern accommodation with onsite parking and easy access to public transport and all major routes via the A19 and A1. The town centre is only a 5 minute walk away making it easy for you to access all local facilities.
TEDCO Business Works has a café on site providing the ideal space for you to meet and chat with other businesses, entertain your clients or just take a break. There is also a small garden area for you to enjoy the sunshine during the summer.

Work Space
TEDCO Business Works offers 26 office units, 20 light assembly and 34 manufacturing units. Office units include rates and are carpeted throughout. Sizes range from 10.5 m² to 106 m² (113 sq ft – 1138 sq ft).
Light assembly and manufacturing space ranges from 14.3 m² to 101 m² (154 sq ft – 1090 sq ft). Water, 3 phase electricity and gas supply are also connected and kitchen facilities are available.
State-of-the-art telephone systems are included with access to your own private line which has a unique number and Voicemail service. Professional Reception facilities are also available.
Other shared facilities include 24 hour security, car parking, kitchen facilities, cleaning of shared areas, postal collection and delivery.
Meeting Space
There are two Kick Start training rooms offering well equipped space for presentations, seminars and meetings. The Centre also accommodates two interview rooms for smaller requirements. A full corporate hospitality service is available onsite.
On the ground floor a café provides fresh food and drink for resident businesses and a comfortable venue to network with other businesses.
TEDCO Business Works is open from 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Meeting rooms are available out of hours and the centre is accessible 24/7 for all licensees, every day of the year, so that you can come and go as you please.
